Twenty-two years after the events of the first movie, the theme-park ‘Jurassic World’ is now officially open to the public! However, ten years into its tenure and with visitor rates declining, a new attraction is created to spark-up interest – which goes terribly wrong.
If that trailer doesn’t excite you – then not much else will. This is not a reimagining of Jurassic Park, they’re are not trying to drag it into a new era or tamper with the original idea. It just feels like a new Jurassic Park movie, and a lot of people will have wanted that. Much like the Star-Wars franchise (which is also getting a re-boot) a lot of people will get excited as much by the visuals of the trailer as the inclusion of the infamous theme-tune! Plus the scene of the kid hiding underneath a table to hide from the stalking dinosaur, a shout-out to a similar scene in the earlier movies.
Set for release on 12 June 2015 in the U.K, I’m convinced this will be a success. Maybe not as huge as such things as The Avengers or Star-Wars, but a blockbuster none-the-less.
